Kudremukh Peak which means Horse face in Kannada at a height of (6214 ft) is the third highest peak in Karnataka. Located in Chikmangalore district Kudremukh is a moderate to difficult level trek as one has to cross open grasslands with a panoramic view of the national park. Total trek distance is 22kms to and fro.

What to Expect
ITINERARY
Day 0: Transportation
Pickup from Bangalore – Indiranagar, Domlur and MG Road
- Pickup from Bangalore
- Have Dinner before boarding the vehicle
- Begin your overnight journey to Kodachadri.
Day 1: Day of the Trek
- Reach early morning to the homestay and freshen up.
- The first day of your trek; have breakfast by around 07:30 AM.
- After having breakfast and take the packed lunch before leaving for the trek
- By 08:00 AM, you can start trekking to the top of Kodachadri peak which is around 14Km one side (approximately).
- Have lunch near to the peak.
- Enjoy the beautiful sunset at the peak and descent back to the homestay by the jeep vehicle (self-sponsored).
- Return to homestay Fresh up and have dinner later and enjoy an optional bonfire. Retire for the night.
Day 2: Return to Bangalore
- On Sunday wake up early, have breakfast and visit Nagara fort on the way back to Bangalore.
- Have self-sponsored lunch on the way to Bangalore.
Stay: –
- Accommodation in dormitory or tents depending on the availability.
- There will be separate stay for boys and girls.
Things to Carry: –
- Strong backpack for trekking.
- hand sanitizer and facemask
- Water bottles at least 2 liters.
- Cloths for two days and an extra set of clothes.
- A Polybag to carry your wet clothes back to Bangalore.
- Sunscreen and sunglasses
- Cap/hat
- Toiletries: – Shampoo, towel, toothpaste, soap, tissue paper, etc.
- Juice packs, Glucon-D, etc.
- Raincoat or a poncho.
- Personal medication if any.
- Mosquito repellent cream.
- Leach repellents like body spray, Dettol, etc.
- A torch with new batteries
- One plastic box if you want to carry energy boosters like Chocolate bars, flavored milk, should be carried without the rappers.
- Camera (optional).
- Long socks
- Good trekking shoes.
- Sandals to walk around at homestay.

- All Covid-19 guidelines issued by the Govt will be followed.
- Please maintain social distancing during the trek
- Dont share water bottles during the trek
- The homestay will be sanitized before and after the stay
- Avoid spitting and gargling on the trail
- Please check with your tour operator for any forest permission requirements.
- Do not expect luxury as we will be traversing through pristine and untamed nature.
- No smoking and consumption of alcohol before or during the activity.
- Carrying jewelry or other valuables is not advisable.
- Do not expect separate accommodation as it is a group trip.
- Drop points will be the pickup points.
