The Pin Parvati Pass is a mountain pass in Himachal Pradesh, India. This trek is referred to as a tricky pass as it falls on high altitude and is secured under solidified snow mountains for practically entire year. This pass was first crossed in August 1884 by Sir Louis Dane in search of an alternate route to the Spiti valley. It connects the fertile and lush Parvati valley on the Kullu side with the Pin valley on the Spiti side. Pin valley trek is located at an elevation of 5319 meter high which pleasures to seasoned trekkers. The ideal season for trekking in Manali is the long stretch of July to September end. The trail has it all. Enchanting green paradise, barren cold dessert, meadows and the cascading waterfalls. Crossing the Parvati river and its tributaries would be one memorable experience. The prevalent culture of the inhabitants also changes from Hinduism on the Kullu side to Buddhism in Spiti. We end the trek in Mud village. A short road drive from Mudh will take us to Kaza where we stay in a Hotel for the night. On the last day we drive from Kaza to Manali where the trip ends.
