Harihargad or Harihar fort is in fort rich district, Nashik which comes under Trimbakeshwar Taluka. Trek to Harihar Fort is beautiful as you cross patches of farm fields and climb to a hill to reach the base of the steps. The Steps are amazingly carved in stone with proper grips for your hands to lift you up. The climb is steep which makes it adventurous and thrilling. From the top you can view the Mountains near Trimbakeshwar and beautiful view of Vaitarna.
Harihar Fort is in triangular shape which has 2 temples, 6 water cisterns and 2 lakes. This Fort was of great historical importance due to connectivity between Maharashtra & Gujarat. Hence, Harihar Fort was used as a Watch Tower to keep an eye on the trade route between the two states.
Itinerary:
Saturday:
We will leave on Saturday night by 10.50 pm CST - KASARA local which reaches Kasara at 1.18 am on Sunday. Don't forget to buy return tickets of local train.
Sunday:
We are Waiting for you
Meet at Kasara railway station by 1:30 am (Sunday) as we'll head to Nirgudpada by transfer vehicle, base village of Harihar Fort.
Time to Rest before the Trek
Reach base village around 3:30 am (Sunday). Time to rest for a while as we will start our trek in light of early sunrise.
Food First
Wake up by 5 am (Sunday) and fill our stomach with the local breakfast and hot tea as we will start our adventure.
Harihar Fort, we are Coming!
We will begin our trek to Harihar fort by 5:30 am, exploring the farm fields and cherishing the morning sunrays.
Wow, we are here!
Reach top by 8:30 am. We will explore the fort and start descend by 9 am.
Lovely Rural Lunch
We will reach base village by 11 am. Enjoy the delicious lunch made by the villagers as we rejuvenate our body and mind.
What an Experience, Mumbai!
We will head back to Kasara after lunch in our transfer vehicle by 12:15 pm as we share our experience of the trek with our fellow trekkers.

Cancellation and Refund applicable on the tour cost:
● If cancellation done prior to 15 days of outing 75% will be refunded.
● If cancellation done prior to 10 days of outing 50% will be refunded.
● After that no refund will be provided.

● Good trekking or sport shoes (Compulsory)

● Some ready to eat food (plum cakes, biscuits)

2. High Ape is not responsible for any injury or damage occurring due to the event.
3. People in an inebriated state will not be given entry.
4. Being only a ticketing portal, High Ape does not take any responsibility for the activities going on inside or outside the event, as the entire responsibility of it is of the organizer/venue.
5. Please go through the details on the Event Details Tab and the Checkout page thoroughly before booking the tickets, as the tickets which are NOT booked in compliance with it will not come in the ambit of discussion.
6. Internet handling fee per ticket applied. Please check your total amount before payment.
7. Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
8. Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket would lead to seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
9. Alcohol (if available) will be served only to guests above the legal drinking age (LDA) and on display of valid age proof.
10. In case a booking confirmation e-mail and SMS gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' if the payment has been processed by High Ape and you will have to contact our representatives for issue of tickets.
11. Arms and ammunition, eatables, bottled water, beverages, alcohol is not allowed from outside to the event. Food and beverages will be available inside the event.
12. Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched.
13. Venues/Organizers are solely responsible for the service; availability and quality of the events.
