Mumbai Midnight Cycling offers a structured late-night cycling experience through the historic and coastal districts of South Mumbai. Organised by Mumbai Travel Club, the ride begins in Colaba and covers approximately 25 kilometres through some of the city’s most recognisable landmarks.
The route includes Marine Drive, Nariman Point, Girgaon Chowpatty, Hanging Gardens, Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus, Flora Fountain, Asiatic Society of Mumbai, Gateway of India and The Taj Mahal Palace before returning to Colaba.
The experience combines moderate physical activity with late-night sightseeing. Participants attend a mandatory safety briefing before departure and ride under team supervision. A short break is scheduled midway for refreshments and recovery.
The event is designed for individuals comfortable cycling 20–25 km. Participants must carry valid identification, adequate hydration, and wear comfortable active clothing. Alcohol and smoking are strictly prohibited, and punctuality is mandatory as the ride departs on schedule.
This experience is suitable for those looking to combine fitness, structured recreation, and a different perspective of Mumbai’s historic core after hours.
