About Kalusbai:

Kalsubai Peak is the highest peak of the Sahyadri mountain ranges in Ahemadnagar district. At the sumit is a small temple of the Kalsubai Godess, the local deity, hardly big enough to seat three people at one time.

This peak stands true to its quality of being the highest peak of the state and commands a mesmerizing view of the mountains surrounding it. 

To the north of the mountain are various forts and scalable mountains such as Harihargad, Brahmagriri, the intimidating AMK range and many more such. To the south west is the famous needle hole upon Ratangad and to the south are Harishchandragad and Ghanchakkar can be seen.

Well be boarding non-A/C bus from our nearest pick-up point.

• 10.30 pm :- Leave Dadar
• 11.20 pm :- Pick Up from Thane ( Teen Hath Naka)

Itinerary :-

Day 0 : ( Saturday)

• 10.00 Pm :- Meet Dadar ( Pritam Hotel)
• 10.30 pm :- Depart from Dadar To Kalusbai Base Village.
• 11.20pm :- Pick Up from Thane ( Teen Hath Naka)

Day 1 :( Sunday)

• 4.00 Am :- Reach the Base Village 
• 5.00 Am :- Wake Up Call, Freshen Up, Have Breakfast & Tea.
• 6.00 Am :- Introduction Round and brief about the rules and regulation to be followed by every trekkers.
• 6.10 Am :- Start the Trek 
• 10:00 am Reach top, explore the mighty temple, feel the quest of being on the highest peak of Maharashtra, take some rest.
• 11.00 Am :- Start Descending towards Base Village.
• 2.30 Pm :- Reach the Base Village, Fresh Up. Have the lunch and rest for a while.
• 4.00 Pm :- Start the Return Journey for Mumbai 
• 9.30 Pm :- Reach Mumbai and Promise to meet again. (Depends on Traffic)

• All expenses incurred due to unforeseen and unavoidable circumstances like road blocks, bad weather

• Some ready to eat food like- plum cakes, fruits, chocolates, biscuits, etc
• 2 Litres of water must
• Wind Cheater and Good trekking shoes
• Extra pair of clothes, socks
• Cap, Camera as Optional
• 1 packet of electrol, enerzal, glucon-D
• Medications if required for individual
• Avoid wearing precious ornaments on an event, if possible 
• And a haversack or backpack to put all the above things to be carried, so hands are free to help each other while trekking. Sling bags / jholas / trolley bags etc not allowed on the event. Please pack accordingly.
