Kalsubai Trek - Sunrise and Cloud Special

Reaching the Base Village

• 04:15 AM: You will arrive at Bari Village, the starting point of the Kalsubai trek. This small village is known for its warm locals and serene environment. You may notice the local architecture and farmlands, which reflect the region’s simplicity and charm.
• 04:30 AM: After a short introduction and safety briefing by your trek leader, we’ll begin our ascent. Key instructions will be shared on navigating the rocky patches and the iron ladders, which are unique features of the Kalsubai trail.

Ascent to Summit

• The trek begins with a gradual climb, crossing farmlands and village trails. As we ascend, you’ll encounter sections of dense vegetation and rocky terrain, illuminated by the cool, moonlit night sky. The sound of night birds and the rustle of leaves enhance the magical atmosphere.
• 07:00 AM: Before reaching the summit, we’ll take a quick break for breakfast and tea. Enjoy the steaming cup of chai and refuel with simple yet delicious local snacks while soaking in the morning light.

Reaching the Summit

• Finally, we reach Kalsubai Peak, the highest point in Maharashtra at 5,400 feet above MSL. During winter treks you get to witness amazing cloud formation and a carpet of cloud all around the peak. During monsoon and summer trek the summit offers a 360 degree view of the Sahyadri mountain range, including Alang, Madan, and Kulang forts, and the serene Bhandardara backwaters.
• At the top, you get to seek blessings at Kalsubai Temple. This temple holds great cultural significance, devotees visit this temple all year-round. During the trek, your trek leader may share interesting local legends about Kalsubai, adding a historical and spiritual context to your journey.

Descent to Base Village

• 08:00 AM: Begin descending carefully navigating the same trail and iron ladders. As daylight will help you walk with higher confidence you can notice how the landscape transforms.
• 11:00 AM: Return to Bari Village,  and proceed for lunch. This meal, often cooked by the local villagers and provides an authentic taste of the region’s cuisine, making it a perfect end to the trek.
• The group is expected to reach Mumbai around 5:00 pm.

• Identity proof.
• Reliable shoes with Good grip and extra pair of floaters.
• Water (minimum 2 Ltrs) Compulsory.
• Extra pair of Clothes.
• Keep your phone fully charged.
• Jacket to protect from cold winds.
• Mosquito repellent (optional)
• Some ready-to-eat food like biscuits, plum cake, etc to keep your tummy happy.
• Medicines (if you need any), Glucon D / Electrol / Enerzyl Powder (We will have a basic first aid kit with us).
• A haversack to put all your things. Your hands need to be free while trekking. 
• And most imp thing, carry lot of enthusiasm and team spirit

• Please carry a valid ID proof along with the valid ticket.
• High Ape is not responsible for any injury or damage occurring due to the event.
• People in an inebriated state will not be given entry.
• Being only a ticketing portal, High Ape does not take any responsibility for the activities going on inside or outside the event, as the entire responsibility of it is of the organizer/venue.
• Please go through the details on the Event Details Tab and the Checkout page thoroughly before booking the tickets, as the tickets which are NOT booked in compliance with it will not come in the ambit of discussion.
• Internet handling fee per ticket applied. Please check your total amount before payment.
• Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
• Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket would lead to seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
• Alcohol (if available) will be served only to guests above the legal drinking age (LDA) and on display of valid age proof.
• In case a booking confirmation e-mail and SMS gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' if the payment has been processed by High Ape and you will have to contact our representatives for issue of tickets.
• Arms and ammunition, eatables, bottled water, beverages, alcohol is not allowed from outside to the event. Food and beverages will be available inside the event.
• Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched.
• Venues/Organizers are solely responsible for the service; availability and quality of the events.
• In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
