Devkund Waterfall Trek

One of most amazing camping and trekking locations of Mumbai, has now opened up for treks and camping. During monsoon this place was banned sighting safety due to alarming water levels. Its surrounding mountains and the two and half hour trek to the mesmerising Devkund fall promises you most scenic views. This is gonna be one of your most exciting treks this season. Swimming in the fresh water pond takes away all your tiredness and rejuvenates you. Be prepared to take a dip !

05:50 am : Borivli - SGNP gate
06:00 am : Goregaon - Pathanwadi Oberoi Mall
06:10 am : Andheri - WEH Metro Station Bus Stop
06:20 am : Bandra - Kala Nagar WEH Bus Stop
06:35 am : Sion Station
06:45 am : Chembur - CSM Statue
07:10 am : Vashi - Opposite Center One Mall
07:20 am : Kharghar - Hotel Three Star

Those coming by own vehicles need to meet us at Hotel 3 Star Kharghar at 7.20am and follow our bus to trek location.
Reach base village approximately by 9:30 am

  • 09:45 am: Start trek

  • 12:00 pm: Reach devkund waterfall and chillout.

  • 12:45 pm: Have tummy filling session, photography and lot of Mischief

  • 02:00 pm: Start trekking back to the base village

  • 03:20 pm: Lunch

  • 04:00 pm: Start return journey

  • 09:00 pm: Tentatively reach Mumbai (depending on traffic)

Note : We will be creating WhatsApp group for pickup and meeting point coordination 6 hrs prior to event date and time. Exact GPS locations will be shared in the group along with live location of the bus

  • Any personal expenses such as soft drinks etc.

IMP : Please make sure you are physically fit to complete the event 

Things to carry :

  • Identity proof

  • Face Mask - Sanitiser

  • Good trekking shoes and extra pair of floaters

  • Extra pair of clothes

  • Water (minimum 2 ltrs) Compulsory

  • Some ready to eat food like biscuits, plum cake etc.

  • Toiletries, Cap / Scarves and Sunglasses

  • Haversack to put all your things

  • Medicines (if you need any), Glucon D / Electrol / Enerzyl Powder (We will have a basic first aid kit with us)

Caution:

  • Wear full clothes and do not use deodorant or perfume.

  • Do not carry - Jholas / sling bag / Trolley bag (This is a trek, not picnic or tour )

  • Avoid wearing jewelry.

  • Please wear reliable shoes. Do not wear sandal, floater, chappal or ballerinas.

  • Consumption of alcohol or any narcotic substance is strictly prohibited.

Covid-19 Guidelines
  • Every member of the group (participants/leaders/ clients & staff) has to wear protective mask/face shield while talking to each other.

  • The bus (if opted as transport) will be completely sanitised before picking up participants.

  • Every participant is instructed to keep safe distance from other participants right from start till the end of the event.

  • Every participant has to carry a sanitiser sprey bottle while coming for the event and use it regularly.

  • Do not share food/snacks you bring along. (we will miss this fun- Dabba Party)

  • Carry additional unused mask as backup.

  • It should be ascertained from the participants that they are not residing / have not traveled in a containment zone and have not come in contact with any person who was tested positive in last 14 days.

  • Ascertain whether any participant has any symptoms of Influenza like illness (ILI) like fever, dry cough, weakness, severe body ache etc. at the time of beginning of activity. If it is so then he/she should be asked not to participate activity and be evacuated on medical grounds and should be asked to report to local health authority with his own expenses.

  • Strictly avoid eating gutkha, pan masala, cigarette or sniffing which induces spitting, coughing or sneezing.

  • Avoid touching external surfaces and touching your face when in outdoors.

  • If the location of your adventure activity is crowded then be prepared to leave or wait for the crowd to disperse/for your turn.

  • It is mandatory that a participant informs the organizers if he tests positive for Covid within 14 days of returning from adventure activity. It will help the organizers to inform and alert all other persons in the group, so that they can follow the medical/government norms in this regard. Here it is absolutely essential that the participant observes transparency and informs the organizers/group leaders about his Covid test results.

  • People in an inebriated state will not be given entry.
  • Being only a ticketing portal, High Ape does not take any responsibility for the activities going on inside or outside the event, as the entire responsibility of it is of the organizer/venue.
  • Please go through the details on the Event Details Tab and the Checkout page thoroughly before booking the tickets, as the tickets which are NOT booked in compliance with it will not come in the ambit of discussion.
  • Internet handling fee per ticket applied. Please check your total amount before payment.
  • Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
  • Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket would lead to seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
  • Alcohol (if available) will be served only to guests above the legal drinking age (LDA) and on display of valid age proof.
  • In case a booking confirmation e-mail and SMS gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' if the payment has been processed by High Ape and you will have to contact our representatives for issue of tickets.
  • Arms and ammunition, eatables, bottled water, beverages, alcohol is not allowed from outside to the event. Food and beverages will be available inside the event.
  • Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched.
  • Venues/Organizers are solely responsible for the service; availability and quality of the events.
  • In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
