The Bombay Dash is a unique sailing event that most importantly is Open to All.
It’s an event that brings people from various facets of life together to form a crew on a sail boat, gives them a short crash course in sailing and then gives them the opportunity to participate in a race where they compete with boats sailed by more participants.
Whether inspired by Popeye, Pirates of the Caribbean, or Moby Dick, we’ve all been fascinated with the idea of sailing the wild oceans. Here’s an opportunity to learn ‘how to sail a boat and then engage in a competition with the other teams.
No prior sailing knowledge or swimming ability is required here.
On our boats, you will learn the basics of sailing and accordingly, assigned a role.
We’ve decided to keep things interesting and the teams will be formed via a lucky draw. On this event, you are certain to meet new people, learn about a new sport, compete and soak in the magic of the sea.

- Boarding Sail boats at Jetty no 5
- 30 mins of ultra crash sailing course
- 1 hour of sailing & racing
- Prize distribution ceremony after
