Rabbi has come a long way since his watershed eponymous debut album's release in 2005. Firmly ensconced in the role of the rebellious/uncompromising though a wee bit elusive artist, he's avoided treading the path of maximum returns and instead chosen to keep the flag of independent music flying during its bleakest phase. His later releases--film Delhi Heights' OST and album Avengi Ja Nahin.have shown a continuation of the layered, deeply passionate, and stylistically varied currents first seen in Rabbi. His third album--'III' released on Universal in April 2012, opened to ecstatic reviews and was easily the most warmly received album of 2012. The first music video of this album--Ganga was released on UTV Bindass in May 2012. His voice is also heard on 2012-13's big hit Challa from SRK/Yash Chopra's magnum opus Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Tu Mun Shudi from the hit Raanjhanaa. He recently released his song Tun Milen – The Ghost of LSD, an invocation of the late troubled Punjabi poet Lal Singh Dil on his own O3 Records.
