Day 4 - Nubra to Pangong Tso via Shayok
Today’s route is actually a shortcut road to reach the famous Pangong Tso via Shayok through rough and rocky terrain and in between water streams. The first glance of the alluring Pangong Lake and its blue waters is enough to leave a lasting impression on your mind. Our campsite for the night, which is our personal favourite, is by the lake itself at Spangmik – 20 km away from the shooting point. Stay at Camp/Guesthouse in Spangmik

On our journey to Sakti today, we conquer the Third Highest Motorable Road - Chang La (17590 ft). Do not miss hot lemon tea and delicious local Thukpa at the Chang La canteen. Day 6 - Sakti to Hemis (Hemis Tsechu Festival) to Karzok (Tsomoriri)
Today we begin the drive with the most auspicious ceremony at Hemis Monastery for Hemis Tsechu Festival. During the festival, a great wooden mast decorated with streamers and religious emblems are erected and Chamm Dance (Mask Dance) will be performed by Lamas of the Monastery. After witnessing the vibrant Ladakhi festival, , we sit back and enjoy the Leh - Manali Highway in SUV / Tempo Traveller and reach one of the highest lakes in the world. Although much smaller than Pangong Tso, it looks more majestic. With less tourists visiting this place, it makes the places all the more beautiful. We reach campsite by evening. Stay at Camp near the Lake

Day 7 - Karzok (Tsomoriri) to Leh via Tsokar
After exploring around Tsomoriri Lake in the morning, we depart to our next destination at Tso Kar which is fairly nearby. Tso Kar known for its size and depth is a fluctuating salt lake situated in the Rupshu Plateau and valley in the southern part of Ladakh.
