Frozen River trek with the most experienced team from Zanskar Village and Mumbai's trek heads "Mischief Treks"
The Chadar Trek is a trekker’s delight. There are stunning sceneries, interesting and challenging terrain to walk through and a cool climate to enjoy. A trek not for the faint-hearted, the Chadar trail passes through challenging terrain in harsh weather conditions. The highlight of the trek is walking through thick blankets of the snow, it is challenging and fun at the same time. The guided trek is a 9-day trip that includes acclimatization exercises, sightseeing and camping at exotic locations on the hills.
Who can do it ?
Even if you have zero trekking experience you can sign up for the trek.
You need to be physically fit for a trek in high altitude.
Endurance level should be equal to walking 10 rounds of football ground in freezing conditions.
Itinerary
--Day 01 : Leh (Arrival)
--Day 02 : Leh to Tilat Sumdo via Chilling (3 hours by road)-
Hike to Campsite at Tilat Sumdo (3100 m) (02 km/1 hour)
LEH CHILLING -TILAT SUMDO
--Day 03 : Tilat Sumdo to Camp at Gyalpo (3170 m) (12 km/6 hours)
TILAT SUMDO GYALPO
--Day 04 : Gyalpo to Dib Cave/Tibb (3225 m) (14 km/8 hours)
GYALPO DIBB/TIBB CAVE
--Day 05 : Dib Cave/Tibb to Camp at Naerak (3390 m) (10.5 km/7 hours)
DIBB/TIBB CAVE NAERAK
--Day 06 : Naerak to Tibb Cave
NAERAK DIBB/TIBB CAVE
--Day 07 : Tibb to Shingra Koma
DIBB/TIBB CAVE SHINGRA KOMA
--Day 08 : Shingra Koma to Tilat Sumdo, and Drive to Leh

Inclusions :-
1. Accommodation. (Camping) and Leh guest house (Day 1, and Day 8 according to Itinerary)
2. Meals while on trek (Veg.)
3. First aid medical kits and oxygen cylinder.
4. Qualified & experienced Trek Leader, Guide and Support staff to help trekkers.
5. Transport from Leh to trek start point and return.

1. Food / Meal in Leh.
