The village of Bir, located in the Kangra district of Himachal Pradesh India, is internationally famous as the base for some of the best paragliding in the world.

The take-off point at Billing, 14km up a winding road from Bir and 1000m higher, hosts major competitive flying events most years in October or November ( including a round of the Paragliding World Cup in 2015). Experienced paragliders fly as far as Dharamshala, Mandi, and Manali from here.

Popular for the hot springs and scenic views of the Himalayan Mountains, Kheerganga is situated in Kullu district of Himachal Pradesh. Located about 22 km away from the pilgrimage town of Manikaran, trekking through the dense forests and a bath in its hot springs are a refreshing experience.

You will pitch your own tents, help in cooking food and collect wood for the bonfire. Beside this you can enjoy nature walks, leisurely walks in the forest, mountain climbing and indulge in landscape photography during your stay at Kheerganga. The view of the sunset and trekking through Kheerganga forests are an incredible experience

Schedule

Day 0 :

Depart from Delhi at 6:30 pm

Day 1 : Bir-Billing Trek | Camping

Reach Bir by morning.
After breakfast and freshen up, head out for the sightseeing. Visit Monasteries around the village and engage with the monks.
Lunch at the Paragliding landing site and start the trek to Billing. Enjoy the Panoramic views of the sunset.
Check-In to the camps followed by bonfire and dinner.

Day 2 : Paragliding | Kasol

Wake up to a beautiful morning and set yourself up for the fly of your life.
After breakfast, meet your pilots at the Take Off point and experience the High Fly from Billing to Bir (20-25 mins).
After lunch and some shopping, start the scenic drive to Kasol.
Check-in to the hotel followed by bonfire and dinner.

Day 3 : Chalal Village Trek | Kasol Cafe hopping

Soak in the peace & beauty of Parvati Valley.
You can explore the Kasol market, and try different cuisines at the local Hippie Cafe's, or just relax by the gushing Parvati River.
In the evening, go for a hike to Chalal village and capture some beautiful views of Parvati Valley.
Chill at the cafe's in Kasol and return to the Hotel for an early night.

Day 4 : Kheerganga Trek

After breakfast, start the drive to the trek starting point at Barsheni.
Trek for 12 km along the Parvati Valley, crossing numerous waterfalls and spotting some breathtaking views.
Reach Kheerganga, and relax at the bonfire at the campsite.
Dinner and overnight at the camps.

NOTE: In case camping is not possible at Kheerganga due to heavy snowfall, we'll be trekking till the snow point & will be camping at Rudranag.

Day 5 : Departure

Visit the natural Hot into a soothing bath.
Start trekking down to reach to Kasol.
On the way, visit the Manikaran Gurudwara.
By evening, depart back to Delhi with some amazing memories of the trip. Reach Delhi next morning

No boarding without valid govt id. Your id will be checked before boarding.
Any given inclusion not availed by the client will not be refunded in any case.
Management shall not take responsibility for missing items during the trip, travellers have to take care of there luggage and belongings.
AC will be switched off on hills and during the waiting time. Also, during the trip, it will be driver’s discretion for putting off AC if the road and travel doesn’t support. This is for traveller's safety as the route can be dangerous and the vehicle may not be able to pull offload with AC running.
Departure time is given and is fixed. You have to report by that time, it’s on you to update your status to trip coordinator. Anyone missing the bus will not be entertained for refund etc and it will not be WanderOn’s responsibility. We will try to call you twice before departure.
We do not provide any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft or any other reason.
We shall not be responsible for any delays and alterations in the programme or expenses incurred-directly due to natural hazard, accident, and breakdown of machinery, equipment’s, transport, weather condition, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.
Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of participants etc. May cause itinerary change. We reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general well-being.

Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
We recommend that you arrive at least 20 minutes prior at the venue to pick up your physical tickets.
