This beautiful peak is located a little over 400 km from Bangalore and makes for a perfect weekend getaway. In this trip, you will not only trek up the highest peak of Shimoga district of Karnataka, you also get to experience the thrill of kayaking in the river as well as visit some places of stunning natural beauty.

Kodachadri peak receives heavy rainfall, which makes the place look enchanted – pristine and unsullied. Your experienced host will guide you through the ups and downs of the route, pointing out to all the sights worth seeing.

Day 0:
09:30 PM - Pickup starts from Bangalore

Day 1:
06:30 AM - Reach homestay
07:30 AM - Fresh up
08:30 AM - Have to breakfast and carry packed lunch
09:30 AM - Start Kodachadri trek
02:00 PM - Reach peak and have packed lunch
02:30 PM - Descend
06:30 PM - Reach homestay and have tea
08:30 PM - Enjoy campfire followed by dinner

Day 2:
07:30 AM - Wake up and get ready
08:00 AM - Have to breakfast
09:00 AM - Checkout from homestay and depart to Bangalore
Visit Nagara Fort on the way back to Bangalore
07:30 PM - Reach Bangalore
