We are finally here this workshop to add a little sparkle to your quarantine time: the geode resin art workshop.
Epoxy resins are a two-component system consisting of resin and hardener. By mixing the two components, a chemical reaction takes place so that the liquid resin gradually hardens to a solid form. The result is a high-gloss, clear surface.
Geode is a geological formation consisting of volcanic rocks, minerals, sediments, crystals, etc. Using the resin medium, we would be bringing out patterns with resin, stones, crystals, etc. to create a geode look-alike.
We shall be teaching you about properties of the resin, how to mix it properly, how to mix pigments to your resin and various pour techniques as well as blow-drying to get the waves.
Materials required: Resin Pigments, glitters Canvas/MDF board, Resin and Hardener, Crystals/glass stones, blow torch/blow drier, paper cups, ice cream sticks
You need no past experience to join our workshop, just the spirit to have some fun and create.
