The Coil Pottery Workshop offers a hands-on introduction to one of the oldest and most expressive pottery techniques. In this immersive session, participants learn how to build pottery forms by layering coils of clay, allowing complete creative freedom in shape, size, and design.
Guided by experienced instructors, you’ll start from shaping the base and gradually build upward, learning how to strengthen forms, add textures, and create decorative patterns. The process is slow, mindful, and deeply satisfying, making it ideal for beginners as well as those looking to explore a new ceramic technique.
With all materials provided and no prior experience required, this workshop creates a relaxed space to experiment, learn, and create. You’ll leave with a handmade pottery piece and a deeper appreciation for traditional ceramic craftsmanship.
