Andharban means a dark dense forest. It is a gradual descend trek, where you are already on height and you will descend till the end. It is one of the most beautiful treks and lots of things to explore. We will be walking on a ridge offering an awesome view of the Kundalika Valley, Bhira dam and the mountain ranges of Tamhini ghat. Evergreen forest covers you with shade in the first half of the trek (6-8 Km). The trek further descends down in Konkan to reach Bhira (4 km). The same valley where is the origin of the Kundalika river famous for its white water river rafting.

Day 0: (Friday)

Board train (Sleeper Class)
Hyderabad Deccan: 08:40 PM | Begumpet: 08:49 PM | Lingampally 09:14 PM

Day 1: (Saturday)

09:00 AM: Reach Pune, board vehicle to Patnus (Base village of Devkund waterfall)

12.00 PM: Reach Patnus

01:00 PM: Trek to Devkund waterfall & return

06:00 PM: Reach Andharban Base camp

09:00 PM: Dinner, followed by Bonfire

Day 2: (Sunday)

05:30 AM: Wake up call & enjoy camping location and sunrise

07:00 AM: Trek to Andharban trail exit point

01.00 PM: Reach Bhira dam

05:30 PM: Reach Pune

07:05 PM: Board train & start towards Hyderabad

Day 3: (Monday)

Reach Lingampally: 06:39 AM | Begumpet: 07:01 AM | Secunderabad Jn 07:45 PM

Things to carry

Mandatory:

▸Walking/ Trekking/ Sports shoes (You should be confident about the grip of the shoe)

▸2-3 pair of clothes (Dry fit clothes are recommended)

▸3 extra pairs of socks

▸Sleeping bag/Thin blanket

▸Rain cover for yourself & your backpack (In Monsoon)

▸Torch/Head torch

▸Water bottle (It's mandatory to carry individual water bottle)

▸Plenty of snacks (Ex. Energy bars, Dry fruits, Candies, ORS, etc)

▸Toilet kit (Carry Odomos)
