Jasmeet Singh Sawhney better known as DJ Jasmeet is the most prominent DJ export out of Bangalore. It won’t be wrong to say that the present bustling Bollywood dance music scene in South India had it’s foundation laid down by Jasmeet a decade ago. With a weekly radio show on air 104 FM Bangalore called Saturday Night Fever with DJ Jasmeet, he is shaping upcoming dance music trends for the community to follow.

Starting as a House music DJ his versatility in music has made him synonymous across the world for private events and destination weddings alike. Traveling across countries playing at Amsterdam, St. Petersburg, Casablanca, Hong Kong, London, Dubai and Mykanos. 

On stage performances of Jasmeet are a package of high octane energy and musical surprises. His new studio is producing content specially for his sets, which are awaited with anticipation. Presently he is pursuing to produce content for a major record label and hone his music production skills further.

Vanshi started his journey in the world of music in 1999. Back then, this 16-year-old boy having little or no knowledge about music was amazed by something at an event. A guy standing behind a console turning knobs, changing CDs and playing through cassettes (yeah, those days were the days) and make everyone move and dance to his 'tunes'. That’s when he decided to create wonders with music. Vanshi’s passion and relentless work earned him the tag of DJ. Over the years DJ Vanshi has evolved and made his mark in top clubs of India.

DJ Vanshi had the distinct advantage of early experience. The DJ-ing scenario was still evolving when he began learning his way around the console. He grew with the industry, crossing milestones along the way and establishing himself as a Pro Music Producer in a matter of years.

DJ Vanshi’s started out in his hometown, Hyderabad. He started playing at Underdeck at the Taj in Hyderabad. A student by day, but when the sun goes down he can be found behind the console in front of packed hotspots making people dance to his tunes. Later he moved to Mumbai to pursue his passion for music and enrolled in a sound engineering course, after a couple years of DJ-ing in Hyderabad. 

He started sharing his knowledge by teaching DJ-ing to aspiring DJs at one of India’s most sought-after DJs - DJ Nasha’s Workstation. Then in 2005, DJ Vanshi got a privilege to be a resident DJ at Olive Beach in Bangalore and he was quick to grab this opportunity. He moved to Bangalore and rocked the leading party capital of India with his music. DJ Vanshi won the Time Music War of DJs from Bangalore and was 3rd in the country. In 2007, he took over ICE Bar at Vivanta by Taj as the resident DJ.
