About the Artist:

The F16s are an outfit from Chennai, India, that are carving a niche for themselves in the Alternative Pop genre. In their time spent as a band, they have traversed the length and breadth of the Indian indie music landscape, releasing 2 EPs and a full-length debut album, and performing at prime festivals and venues across the country.

AwThe band has recently ventured into Southeast Asia, with a 6 city tour through Singapore, Cambodia, Vietnam and Thailand. The F16s are currently signed to Oxford, Mississippi indie label HOUSE ARREST as of 2019 and are set to release their latest offering, a collection of songs known as WKND FRNDS.

Prior releases include a 6-song EP released in 2013 called Kaleidoscope, and a 2-track recording in Brooklyn, New York called Nobody's Gonna Wait. The debut full-length album, Triggerpunkte; a nine-song offering is a reaction to the their previous efforts where they explore the bands identity. The bands latest release WKND FRNDS is all set to roll out in may 2019.
