‘THE BEAST FROM THE EAST’ as he is fondly called by friends, followers and fans alike, had an unassuming start in the golden years of the late 1980s in the bustling city of Kolkata, India. What stood out back in those days was the passion with which this power-house of a talent unleashed cutting-edge dance music from his console, technically perfect and mixing each track with surgical precision, scorching down heaving dance floors of yore. Thus, slowly but surely began a comprehensive journey of euphoric sets that generated mass hysteria and established this gentle giant as one of India’s topmost DJs. Also referred to as- ‘THE GODFATHER OF HOUSE MUSIC IN INDIA’ by many, he stands head and shoulders above the rest.
