A very active member of local community, VCKY is no stranger to the ups and downs of the industry. His passion for music gave him the motivation to pursue music more than just a passing hobby. As a DJ, he has found a plenty of ways to express himself musically and also had the advantage of great exposure to various genres of music. Soon but steadily he developed a style of his own. He says, "For me, its all about the mood and hypnotic groove. DJ Veejay (Vijay Kumar) is a seasoned and versatile artist in Bengaluru’s nightlife scene, with over 12 years of experience. He is well-regarded for his ability to adapt to diverse crowds, making him a regular fixture at popular clubs, corporate events, and weddings across the city.
He is known as an "Open Format" DJ, meaning he does not stick to a single genre. His sets typically blend Bollywood (his stronghold), EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Commercial Pop, and Trap. He is particularly noted for his high-energy Bollywood remixes that cater to mass audiences.
