SEVENTH SEA

Seventh Sea has been in the music scene for over a decade. In 2013, he discovered his new found love for underground electronic music. He has since shared the decks with some industry stalwarts both in India and abroad. His music is multi-dimensional due to the years spent exploring different styles of sound, with a strong undercurrent of Melodic House and techno. His music has been supported by Soul Button, Patrice Baumel and a load of other names to say the least, churning out hit after hit on labels like Us & them, Awen, Qilla and the likes.

Man With No Shadow – shady name for a respectable artist. Throwing legendary raves and rocking dance floors for the past decade, he has earned his stripes as an icon of Dutch club culture.

Known as a DJ first, he’s made some big steps as a producer recently, finetuning his ‘positive take on techno’ with releases on labels like OFF Recordings, Drumcode and 100% Pure.

Eventually, it was his his ‘Drumfeld EP’ on 100% Pure that became his breakthrough as a producer and a career-defining EP. The release got massive international feedback and scored for weeks in Beatport’s techno charts. Musically, it stood out by combining the power of techno and a rave-inspired touch. Altogether, feeling like a soundtrack for the warehouse years with GZG – the organization he entered the scene with in the 00’s, throwing notorious raves.

Hailing from the city of Bangalore, showcasing the city's diverse genres within Techno. Seventh Sea is a Dubai based wave resonating his sounds in the region and to the countries in the west.

Seventh Sea (Sagar Bhagat) is a DJ and Producer from Bangalore, India.
His music is multi-dimensional due to the years spent exploring different
styles of sound, with a strong undercurrent of Melodic House and techno.
His preeminent choice of sounds has gained him a distinct identity in the
music scene over the years. In his sets he amalgamates ethereal and
eerie melodies with driving bass lines which can quickly adapt to peak
hour vibes by switching genres to Dub, Industrial and Acid Techno.
He draws inspiration from the likes of Nick Devon, Binaryh, Etapp Kyle,
Township Rebellion to name a few.

Founded by Ashwin and Ashrith(Audio Units) in 2012 who have been at the backdrop of the music scene for over a decade, our team here at Beatworx has grown organically, providing a platform for our fellow students as a closely-knit community bound together by an undying passion for music.
