Overview

Kumaraparvatha :: Pushpagiri or Kumara Parvatha, at 1,712 metres, is the highest peak in Pushpagiri Wildlife Sanctuary in the Western Ghats of Karnataka.

Kumara parvatha is second highest peak in Coorg district (Karnataka state) after Tadiandamol peak. The starting point for trekking is Kukke Subramanya.

Kukke Subramanya Temple is located in Subramanya village. The trail has the most stunning escapes of nature, enclosed by flora and fauna on either side.

Itirenary

Day 0

Overnight journey from Chennai to Kukke.

Day 1

Early morning freshen up and a light breakfast
Start the trek at 6.30 a.m.
Trek starts from Kukke Temple and reaches Battara Mane at 10.30 AM
Start from Battara Mane at 11.30 AM
Explore the peak and descend back with a spectacular sunset, via bhattaramane for dinner, and retire for the day.

Day 2

Plan 1: Wake up 4.30 am, then go back to kukke subramanya, have breakfast and reach Chennai at 6:00 p.m
Plan 2: Wake up at 5.30 am, have breakfast at Bhat House, and reach Chennai at 9.00 pm.

- Plans 1 & 2 depend on the decisions of the majority of participants.

Accommodation: Tented, with sleeping bags provided.

Participants need to carry on their own for 12 km (To & From) .
Cost of tents/sleeping bags has to be paid, if lost.

3.00 pm at MGR Railways Station, Chennai

Arms and ammunition, eatables, bottled water, beverages, alcohol is not allowed from outside to the event. Food and beverages will be available inside the event.
Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched.

In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
