Kudremukh, located in South Karnataka, is an awe-inspiring destination renowned for its mesmerizing trekking expeditions. Standing tall at an impressive height of 1894 meters, this iconic peak boasts breathtaking vistas and lush greenery that captivate adventurers from around the world.

The name "Kudremukh" translates to "horse face" in the Kannada language, a fitting descriptor for the distinctive shape of the mountain range when viewed from a certain angle, resembling the face of a horse.

Trekking enthusiasts flock to Kudremukh to challenge themselves with its exhilarating trails, immerse themselves in the natural beauty of the Western Ghats, and witness unforgettable sunrises and sunsets from its lofty summit.

It's an expedition that promises both physical exhilaration and soul-stirring experiences amidst nature's grandeur.

Itinerary

Day 1: Journey from Bangalore

Friday: Depart from Bangalore on an overnight journey.

Day 2: Trekking Expedition

Reach Samse early in the morning.
Proceed to the base camp in a jeep for freshening up and enjoying a hot breakfast.
After breakfast, start the trek with packed lunch in hand.
Trek through tropical rainforests, crossing water streams, small waterfalls, and green meadows along the way.
Reach the summit of Kudremukh peak and marvel at the breathtaking panoramic views of the region.
Begin the descent from the peak.
Freshen up upon returning to the base camp.
Enjoy a delicious dinner followed by relaxation around the bonfire.
Overnight stay at a homestay.

Day 3: Return and Departure

Have breakfast at the homestay.
Check out and depart for Belur to explore its famous Hoysala architecture.
Begin the return journey to Bangalore, cherishing the memories of your trekking adventure.

Koramangla (Sony junction): 09.00 pm
Domlur junction / EGL park: 09.15 pm
Gorguntepalya Metro Station: 10.30 pm

Inclusion & Exclusion

Inclusions:

Transportation to and from Bangalore.
Accommodation in a homestay during the trek.
Meals: 2 breakfasts, 1 lunch, 1 dinner, and snacks, all vegetarian.
Services of a forest guide, necessary permissions, and trek coordinators.
Charges for jeep transportation to and from the base camp.
First aid kit for any emergencies.
Bonfire experience (weather permitting).

Exclusions:

Lunch and dinner during travel to and from Bangalore.
Additional cost for non-vegetarian meals (available in November).

• Raincoat/Poncho (during monsoon)

• ID proof

• Backpack

• Sunscreen/cap

• Track pants

• Full sleeve cotton t-shirt (to avoid getting sun burnt)

• Torch (with extra batteries)

• Personal Medication

• Necessary toiletries

• Shoes with a good grip
