It surprises everyone with its beauty and also the third-highest peak in Karnataka makes it challenging at the same time. Plan your trek to Kudremukh easily and conveniently with our online booking service. An ideal place if you love nature and can’t resist being in the wild. Embark on a thrilling Kudremukh trek from Chikmagalur with our convenient and customizable trekking packages.
In Kannada,’Kudre’ means Horse and ‘Mukha’ means Face and literally Kudremukh means Horse-face and gets its name because of a specific view of the mountain which almost resembles a horse’s face. It is a trek of moderate difficulty, a weekend is all you need to hike this mountain and the Kudremukh trek distance is 22km approximate. The landscape you traverse will mostly be wide green grasslands, and a few patches of forest.

Day 0
Begin the overnight journey from Bangalore to Kudremukh. Relax and prepare for an exciting adventure.
Day 1
07:00 AM Arrive at the homestay in Kudremukh.
07:30 AM Enjoy a hearty breakfast and collect your packed lunch (to be carried in an empty steel box).
08:30 AM Head to the trek base camp via a thrilling jeep ride.
09:00 AM Begin the trek to Kudremukh Peak.
04:00-05:00 PM Begin your descent and return to the base camp.
06:00 PM Reach the homestay and relax.
07:30 PM Enjoy a warm bonfire (subject to weather conditions).
08:00 PM Savor a delicious dinner and retire for the night.
Day 2
08:00 AM Relish a delightful breakfast at the homestay.

12:30 PM Depart from Kudremukh.
Overnight Journey Begin the return journey to Bangalore.

Eco-Friendly Trekking:
Avoid plastic water bottles (use refillable non-plastic bottles).
Do not carry snacks with plastic wrappers while trekking.
Use a non-plastic tiffin/lunch box for packed meals.
It’s mandatory to provide government documents for Trek Permit like voter ID, RationCard, Driving license, PAN card, or Passport.
Cleanliness is our top most priority. So, please do not throw trash out anywhere in the trek place.
Your equipment and equipment distributed are to be carried by yourself, like bags, sticks, etc.
As you are exploring nature, don’t expect luxury. Washrooms are only available at the hotel campsite (you reach the hotel/campsite for breakfast).
You agree to indemnify yourself for the risks involved in the outings varying from destination to destination.
NammaTrip is not responsible for misplacing/loss of any personal belongings.
Due to non-unavoidable circumstances the trek/sightseeing will affect the routes, trekkers need to cooperate for the same
If you fail to do the Reservation we are not responsible for that. So at that point in time, you can reschedule the trek for next week or go for an alternate trek.
