Kudremukh is located at an elevation of 6,214ft above Mean Sea Level (MSL). It is the third highest peak in Karnataka and 26th overall in the Western Ghats. The name is derived from a Kannada word that means “Horse’s Face” as the peak of the mountain resembles a Horse Face..

As per the forest Department regulation, only 50 people are allowed to Trek in kudremukh on any given day, so we will leave as early as possible to obtain permissions from the forest dept. if in case we are unable to trek kudremuk, we will be doing any alternative trek similar to kudremukh.
Pickup Locations :-

Day 0: Overnight journey from Bangalore to Kudremukh..
Day 1: Freshen up, have authentic breakfast from a local house, carry packed lunch, check-in at the Forest Check Post and start our trek towards the Peak. We trek back to the base camp on the same day as it is not permitted to camp or stay in the premises of the National Park overnight.
Reach base camp after completing trek have snacks, freshen up and have dinner. Enjoy the camp fire if wheather permits.

Day 2
We start this day with a visit to the nearby waterfall right next to the homestay. after a refreshing dip in the waterfall have breakfast and leave for bangalore, we will have lunch on the way back and visit Belur or Halebedu.
