Once you enter the premises, you will feel as you have entered the lap of mother nature. Kanva lake area is around 1920 acres, and 15 km long, built in 1946. It is trusted to be asia’s first automatic open and close gate dam, constructed by sir m visveswaraya during his ruling era as 19th diwan of mysore. Sir mokshagundam visveswaraya, whose birthday, i.e. September 15, is celebrated as engineer’s day in India,. His purpose of constructing kanva dam was to help the farmers for irrigation, and now it is one of the very popular tourism destinations near bangalore, in karnataka.
The property is involving in day outing, corporate team outings, institutional outings, family outings, birthday parties, bachelor parties, overnight stays, and more. We have facilities to accommodate 500 people at a time.
