With the ruins of a fort that dates back to the 16th century and the lush green vegetation in and around the hills, Hutridurga makes a perfect weekend getaway from Bengaluru.

Itinerary-
Board the bus, get to know fellow travelers and leave Bengaluru by around 6.30 AM.
-Breakfast en route
-Reach the base of the hill
-Start the trek
-Reach the peak where you'll find a temple
-Explore the surroundings
-Have lunch and take a short nap
-Descend to the base
-Start back to Bengaluru
-Stop to sip some chai
-Reach Bengaluru by evening.
