Gokarna is a town on the Arabian Sea, in the southwestern Indian state of Karnataka. A popular pilgrimage destination for Hindus, it’s known for sacred sites like Mahabaleshwar Temple, which has a shrine dedicated to the deity Shiva. Nearby, Koti Teertha is a temple tank where devotees wash in the holy waters. The town is also home to beaches such as palm-lined Gokarna, in the center, plus Kudle and Om farther south. The Gokarna Beach trek is very famous among the trekkers which covers 5 beaches.
Itinerary
Day 1 Depart from Bangalore
We start from Bangalore on Friday night.
Pick up from Domlur at 21:30 PM
Pick up from Lifestyle at 22:00 PM
Pick up from Elite Restaurant Yesvantpur at 22:30 PM & we continue our journey to Gokarna.
Day 2 Trek to Kodachadri
After arriving in Gokarna at 07:30 AM, Participants will be given time for freshen up & then we have Breakfast and start trekking towards Kodachadri peak at 08:30 AM. We would reach the peak by 12:30 PM and have packed lunch and take some rest for a while. Later by 13:30 we start climbing down to base camp which might take again 3 hrs approximately. Once we reach homestay, Tea/Coffee with snacks will be provided & participants can get freshen up to enjoy campfire.By 20:00 PM have dinner and Overnight stay at Tents. (Separate for Male & Female)
Day 3 Depart to Bangalore
Wake up at 06:00 AM have freshen up, Breakfast & Depart to Bangalore. On the way we would visit Mirjan fort and stop at a restaurant for Lunch. We reach back to Bangalore by 21:00 PM.
