Bio :

Raka is a Music Producer and DJ based out of Bangalore. 
In reality, he indelibly inhabits the crossover point where art merges with music.
His sound is engineered with a heady mixture of heavy hitting drums and tight snares, garnished liberally with unconventional sampling and tied in together with generous amounts of bass. 
In less than a year, he has performed at some of the top venues in Bangalore, such as The Humming Tree, Blue Frog, Social, Bonobo, Raasta New Delhi alongside top artists such as Daddy G of Massive Attack (UK), Epic Empire (France), EPROM (US), B.R.E.E.D (US), Herobust (US), Moresounds (Fr) and Troyboi (UK).
His recent release LURUBASS made in collaboration with the urban streetwear brand - Breakbounce as a part of their Street Sessions series, crossed 70,000+ plays in a little over 2 weeks since it’s release. 
His viral hit - The Arnab Trap has amassed over 530,000+ plays and has been featured by news publications such as The Wall Street Journal, VICE, Deccan Chronicle, Homegrown.in, and many more. 
His collaboration with The Viral Fever, has crossed 300,000+ views
Raka has also been featured in LA-beat collective Team Supreme’s beat cypher Vol 134. 
Diplo, M.I.A, Timbaland, Just Blaze, and Neptunes are some of his major musical influences. Versatile, experimental and truly indie, he believes in blurring the lines between genres to create unique and good music.
