Born and raised in Mauritius, SMITZ grew up listening to all different styles of music, from Sega to House. SMITZ was more captivated by the music, and reactions of the crowds then she could ever imagine, as were they of her. SMITZ's sets are directly inspired by her audience; her ability to read an audience and adapt her sound is uncanny. SMITZ will guide the social atmosphere to the next level with her versatility and unique sound. SMITZ’s experience has her well travelled from the shores of Mauritius to the black sands of Goa. You can hear her love of the beach correlate with her love of music, as you can feel the free rhythmic sounds throughout her music.
Having 6 years of experience as an electro house DJ SMITZ has matured musically and found herself mouse - trapped by the new culture of underground dance music is no task for the timid!
