He is known as an "Open Format" DJ, meaning he does not stick to a single genre. His sets typically blend Bollywood (his stronghold), EDM (Electronic Dance Music), Commercial Pop, and Trap. He is particularly noted for his high-energy Bollywood remixes that cater to mass audiences.

A very active member of local community, VCKY is no stranger to the ups and downs of the industry. His passion for music gave him the motivation to pursue music more than just a passing hobby. As a DJ, he has found a plenty of ways to express himself musically and also had the advantage of great exposure to various genres of music. Soon but steadily he developed a style of his own. He says, "For me, its all about the mood and hypnotic groove. DJ Sash is now in his 14th year of mixing sets and has been spinning many party animals across the world .He has been passionate about his music since his childhood. His dedication and talent has given him huge popularity amongst party animals in Bangalore for the last decade.
