Some things are beautiful on their own.
Whether you’re coming with a friend, your situationship, your ex (bold), or just yourself and your peace, this Lino Cutting Workshop is an excuse to make something with your hands and laugh at the whole romance-industrial complex.
This is not about being anti-love, it’s about making room for your real feelings and transforming them into art.
Here’s the concept: each person will carve and print their own artwork — an individual piece that’s whole on its own. No “you complete me” nonsense.
You can still place two prints side by side and see how they speak to each other, but your art doesn’t depend on anyone else to make sense.
Want to carve something that actually feels like you? Your designs can be customized to your choice of artwork for carving: sweet, strange, petty, chaotic, minimal, dramatic… whatever matches your mood. And during the workshop, expect individual attention throughout: help with choosing the design, transferring it, carving safely, correcting slip-ups, and getting clean prints.
This isn’t a rush job ... it’s guided, hands-on, and genuinely supportive.
You’ll be walked through the calming process of lino printmaking, learn the basics, work with your hands, and create two prints per person. No experience needed — just curiosity, patience, and the joy of making something slowly. It’s not about perfection.
It’s about presence, play, and making something that’s yours.
