Prithvi has won the Indian Excellence in Radio Awards (IEIRA) 2008 as the RJ of the Year 2008, IERA 2008 best show award for his "Good Morning Bengaluru" and the Rappa Radio and TV Practitioners Association of India Ltd Best Radio Programme award for his "Birthday Bakra".
In 2011 he was the only Radio Jockey from India invited to perform at the first edition of the International Radio Festival held in Zurich, Switzerland.
