The group consists of Jono Grant, Tony McGuinness, and Paavo Siljamäki and is widely recognized as one of the most influential acts in trance and progressive electronic music. They gained early recognition through their remix of Madonna’s What It Feels Like for a Girl, which brought them international attention.
Above & Beyond are known for their emotionally driven sound, combining melodic trance, progressive house, and deep electronic elements with meaningful lyrics and strong storytelling. Beyond performing and producing music, they are the founders of the globally respected record label Anjunabeats, along with its sister label Anjunadeep, both of which have played a major role in shaping modern electronic music culture.
