Sanjay Rajoura is a software consultant by training and a stand-up comic by instinct. He was born in New Delhi and has lived in Jaipur, Pune, Mumbai, Delhi, San Francisco and Singapore.

Sanjay walked out on a decade-long IT career to become an 'artist' after he first tried his hand at an open-mic event in 2009. Since then, Sanjay became popular and sought-after name in stand-up comedy and has performed all over India with shows in Pune, Bangalore, Delhi and the NCR.

His solo show, Jat In Mood was performed at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi, in 2010 and his new one-act stand up series titled, End the Occupation, recently opened at India Habitat Centre, Delhi. A storyteller, rather than a stand-up comic Sanjay interprets and narrates everyday experiences using humour and satire.

His comedy is a comment on contemporary society and it’s politics, on being a Jat and on the ever exciting world of software engineers.
