Bio :

Born and raised in New Delhi, India, Lekka discovered her love for music at a very early age. 
She started singing at age four and learning the piano at six. 
By the age of seven, she was on stage at local singing competitions. 

Her family's extensive collection of music exposed her to various genres and helped her develop an eclectic taste. 

Along with Lekka's childhood passion to belt out songs, she soon became keen to pen down poems later honing them into lyrics. 

"She was too young to ride, too old to surrender." 

Through the years her ever-increasing collection of music elucidated what was uppermost in the young artist's mind. 

Bio :

Since their inception in 2010, the band has played at various venues and festivals across India like ‘Ziro festival of music’, Arunachal Pradesh alongside artists like Lee Ranaldo & the Dust (Sonic Youth, USA), The 7 – Sisters rock festival, Voice of North-East festival, India Bike Week, New Wave Festival Goa, IIT Delhi and more. The band participated in the competition ‘ Hard Rock Rising’, which is a global battle of the bands taking place at all Hard Rock outlets from Las Vegas to Tokyo. They impressively stormed through the national level competition as well as the online voting system and reached the ‘top 25 bands worldwide’ category, one of the first Indian bands to reach this level. The band was handpicked by Uday Benegal (Indus Creed) to jam on MTV as part of the Rayban MTV never hides sounds series and also won the Delhi leg of the Converse roads to rubber contest. Frisky Pints was nominated by Rolling Stone Magazine as one of ‘2013’s best emerging rock act ‘ and MTV Indies included the band in the “10 Immensely Talented Young Bands That Hold Potential to Stardom”. With success on the rise, Frisky Pints is all set to release their debut album by 2016.
