Event Description

Triund is the crown jewel of Dharamshala, situated in the laps of Dhauladhar mountains, it has the perfect view of the Dhauladhar mountains on one side and Kangra valley on the other.

Triund is a very popular trekking spot. Triund attracts a lot of tourists every year from India and all over the world. The Triund trek can be described as a tranquil trek which can be easily accomplished by almost all age groups.

Triund has an unambiguous byway which goes through a beautiful mixed forest of oak, deodar, and rhododendron. Trek is fairly easy for the first five kilometers but the last one kilometer may require a bit of toil, the last one kilometer is popularly known as the “22 curves” as it has 22 tiring curves before you finally reach Triund. Along the way, there are many small chai shops where one can refresh during the hike. The traipse is worth it as the panorama when you reach Triund is awe-inspiring and exhilarating.

Duration of the event

2 Night/3 Days

Day 1: McLeod Ganj Arrival & Local Sightseeing

Start from Delhi by 06:30 PM.
Stop at any decent roadside hotel for dinner.
Reach McLeod Ganj by morning.
Check in at our hotel and after having breakfast and some leisure, head out for the local sightseeing of Mcleod Ganj.
Visit the very famous Namgyal Monastery, Bhagsu waterfall, and Bhagsunath temple.
Spend your evening at the local market of Mcleod Ganj, chilling around in the local cafes, trying different Tibetan cuisine.
Come back to the hotel by evening, dinner and sleep overnight.

Day 2: Trek to Triund | Camping at Triund

Wake up early morning and after having breakfast head for Triund Trek.
Take a pit stop at Magic View Cafe on your way through Triund and chill around for half an hour.
Reach Triund by evening and enjoy the beautiful sunset at Dhauladhar Ranges.
Bonfire, Jamming, dinner and sleep overnight under the sky studded with stars and snowcapped mountains all around.

Day 3: Trek Down | Departure

Wake up with a beautiful and blissful sunrise from the snowcapped Dhauladhar range and enjoy your morning breakfast at the top of the Mountain.
Start your trek down and reach Mcleod Ganj by 3 pm.
Lunch, leisure & McLeod Ganjself-exploration ( shopping)
Head back to Delhi by evening with lots of amazing trip memories.
Reach Delhi next day morning by 08:00 AM(tentatively)

Terms & Conditions

1. Transfer of your bookings to other persons are not allowed, name mentioned at the time of confirmation are the only person will be allowed to travel.

2. Full payment of the trip cost has to be paid before the trip starts, pending payments may lead to cancellation of your trip.

3. No boarding without valid govt id. Your id will be checked before boarding.

4. Any given inclusion not availed by the client will not be refunded in any case.

5. Management shall not take responsibility for missing items during the trip, travelers have to take care of there luggage and belongings.

6. AC will be switched off on hills and during the waiting time. Also, during the trip, it will be driver’s discretion for putting off AC if the road and travel don’t support. This is for traveler’s safety as the route can be dangerous and vehicle may not be able to pull offload with AC running.

7. Departure time is given and is fixed. You have to report by that time, it’s on you to update your status to trip coordinator. Anyone missing the bus will not be entertained for refund etc and it will not be WanderOn’s responsibility. We will try to call you twice before departure.

8. We do not provide any insurance policy covering the expenses for accident, sickness, loss due to theft or any other reason.

9. We shall not be responsible for any delays and alterations in the programme or expenses incurred-directly due to natural hazard, accident, the breakdown of machinery, equipment’s, transport, weather condition, sickness, landslides, political closures or any untoward incidents.

10. Numerous factors such as weather, road conditions, the physical ability of participants etc.

11. May cause itinerary change. We reserve the rights to change any schedule in the interest of safety, comfort and general well being.
