Experience the Nagaland culture at one hub - “Hornbill Festival 2019”. Tribes from all the villages of Nagaland gather and perform arts. You will find a range of tribes such as Sumi Tribe, Konyak tribe, Sangtam Tribe and many more performing their famous dance rituals.

That’s not all you will find authentic Naga cuisine and their exquisite rice beer and you must try the Naga Chilly to blow your minds !

If that’s not enough you will visit the Dzukou Valley which is a blanket of green meadows. You will be overwhelmed with the vast green canvas that lies before you.

Day1(30th Nov,2019) - Guwahati to Dimapur
Guide meets up at Guwahati railway station. Board train in guwahati to Dimapur. Reach campsite and enjoy dinner and bonfire.

Day 02 (1st Dec,2019) - Hornbill Festival Opening day
Rise and shine, grab breakfast.Hornbill opening ceremony day, spend the entire day there, visit Kohima market at night. Dinner Complimentary.

Day 03 (2nd Dec,2019) - Dzuko Valley Trek
Transferred to start of Dzuko valley, Hike to Dzuko valley, stay overnight at the dome. All meals,Sleeping bags and mats will be provided.

Day 04 (3rd Dec,2019 ) - Kisama Exploration
Explore Dzuko valley in the morning and walk back to base, transfer to camp. Rest of the day at Hornbill festival.

Day 05 (4th Dec,2019)- Dimapur to Guwahati
Drop off to Dimapur station after breakfast/lunch depending on train timings.Train from Dimapur to Guwahati.

Train for return journey Guwahati - Dimapur - Guwahati.
Transport for Dzukou Valley
Transport for night market.
Permit and guide/trek charges included.
Tent stay for all nights (twin sharing basis).
Meals As mentioned in the itinerary.Everyday breakfast and dinner will be included. Lunch included only on trek day. Meals while travelling at own expense.

Exclusions

Flight charges upto guwahati not included.
Travel insurance not included.

Things you need during trekking adventures:

Trekking - Sports shoes. Ankle shoes preferred as the trek is rocky.
