The Village Of Bir (Elevation: 1400m), Located In The Kangra District Of Himachal Pradesh India, Is Internationally Famous As The Base For Some Of The Best Paragliding In The World. The Take-Off Point At Billing, 14km Up A Winding Road From Bir And 1000m Higher, Hosts Major Competitive Flying Events Most Years In October Or November (Including A Round Of The Paragliding World Cup In 2015). Experienced Paragliders Fly As Far As Dharamshala, Mandi, And Manali From Here.

Bir Is Also An Important Center Of The Tibetan Exile Community: The Lower Half Of The Village Is Known As Tibetan Colony And There Are Several Buddhist Monasteries And Institutes In And Around Bir, Some Of Which Attract Numbers Of Foreigners For Courses And Retreats.

Start From Delhi In Evening On Day 0.
Reach Bir By Next Morning.

Day 1

Reach Bir By Morning.
After Having Breakfast & Freshen Up , Head Out For Sherabling Monastery Visit.
Visit Local Market For Some Shopping And Explore Some Of The Local Restaurants/Cafe For Some Tibetan Cuisine.
Dinner At Bonfire And Overnight Stay At Bir.

Day 2

Wake Up Early Morning And After Having Breakfast Set Yourself Up For The Fly Of Your Life.
Chill At Bir In Various Cafes Or Go For Mountain Biking (Not Included In The Package)
By Evening Head Back To Delhi With Some Amazing Trip Memories.

Day 3

Reach Delhi By Morning With Amazing Trip Memories.

Inclusions & Exclusions

Inclusions

Entire travel as per the itinerary.
3 meals – 2 Meals (Day 1) + 1 Meal (Day 2)
Accommodation in Swiss camps/Hotel at Bir.
Paragliding cost from Billing to Bir.
Team captain throughout the trip.
Driver night charges, toll tax, parking charges.

Exclusions

GST (5%) is applicable extra.
Anything not mentioned in the inclusions.
Glider’s tip or charges for Video/photos while paragliding.
Any other costing involved due to any kind of natural calamity, forced circumstances which are out of our control.
Insurance of Rs 150/- Cash will be collected at the time of Paragliding as per new Authority Guidelines.

A rucksack bag and a day pack

One cotton long sleeves and 2 short sleeve t-shirt

At least 2 long pants (trek pants and cargo pants are favourable)

A rain jacket or a poncho

Above-the-ankle waterproof and breathable hiking boots with good grip

Medicines for headaches, diarrhoea, motion sickness

Please carry a valid ID proof along with the valid ticket.
High Ape is not responsible for any injury or damage occurring due to the event.
People in an inebriated state will not be given entry.
Being only a ticketing portal, High Ape does not take any responsibility for the activities going on inside or outside the event, as the entire responsibility of it is of the organizer/venue.
Please go through the details on the Event Details Tab and the Checkout page thoroughly before booking the tickets, as the tickets which are NOT booked in compliance with it will not come in the ambit of discussion.
Internet handling fee per ticket applied. Please check your total amount before payment.
Tickets once booked cannot be exchanged or refunded.
Unlawful resale (or attempted unlawful resale) of a ticket would lead to seizure or cancellation of that ticket without refund or other compensation.
Alcohol (if available) will be served only to guests above the legal drinking age (LDA) and on display of valid age proof.
In case a booking confirmation e-mail and SMS gets delayed or fails because of technical reasons or as a result of incorrect e-mail ID / phone number provided by the user etc, a ticket will be considered 'booked' if the payment has been processed by High Ape and you will have to contact our representatives for issue of tickets.
Arms and ammunition, eatables, bottled water, beverages, alcohol is not allowed from outside to the event. Food and beverages will be available inside the event.
Persons suspected of carrying items that may be used in an offensive or dangerous manner, or carrying out illegal activities within the site may be searched.
Venues/Organizers are solely responsible for the service; availability and quality of the events.
In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
