Overview

Located just 60 km from Bangalore, Shivagange, also known as Dakshina Kashi, is a blend of spirituality and adventure. Renowned for its religious significance, the hill features shrines of Shiva, Parvathi, and Ganga, including the Gangadhareshwara and Honnadevi temples. Mythical legends claim the hill's spring water, Olakal Teertha, originates from the sacred Ganges.

From different angles, the hill resembles iconic shapes like a Shiva Linga, a bull, a cobra, and Ganesha. At the peak, a beautifully carved monolithic Nandi sits on a massive rock, enhancing the spiritual aura.
