With a degree in Information Science Engineering, Bangalore producer Jayanth Ramachandra AKA The Sine Painter is deeply immersed in the possibilities of cybertechnology.

Jayanth is committed to genre-breaking explorations and producing cinematic soundscapes repurposed for the dance floor. His music blurs the lines between genres, styles, and acoustic palettes. His latest EP, ‘URL Utopias’, explores the idea of the internet as a “comfort zone” and as a realm of unexplored potential. The EP features an over-the-top, hyper-digital aesthetic composed in a month after a deep dive through Internet sub-cultures. Jayanth has re-contextualized everything: existing sounds, structures and compositional techniques in ways that are not often explored. The music is raw, the edges, jagged and the production is transparent. The EP is probably the most accomplished creative vision we’ve heard from The Sine Painter yet and we’re excited to be a part of his artistic journey. SUPPORTING ACTS: Your Chin Your Chin is the solo project of Raxit Tewari, who is also the front man of Mumbai based indie band Sky Rabbit. Your Chin began with Raxit’s love for bringing varied sounds together into a great composition. He has opened for Grammy winner Gotye at the Oz Fest event in New Delhi at Blue Frog. Fall Someplace, a track from the EP was chosen as the promotional song for “ A Summer’s Day” Festival headlined by Norah Jones in 2013. He has also performed at various festivals around India including NH7 Weekender, Magnetic Fields, Ziro Festival of Music, India Bike Week apart from also being a regular at live gig venues across the country. Bangalore-based SOULSPACE’s live sets are deep, emotive yet dancy, which is his signature sound. It’s a journey in sound with no genre constraints. Soulspace distances himself with more exploratory tempos and an experimental beat-maker approach.

He’s capable of shifting an aural ambience from downtempo summertime grooves to more club friendly music in a blink of an eye - he produces tracks with melodic, soulful and straight up dance floor sensibilities.
