Parvaaz is perhaps the most exciting new band to come out of India in many years. Parvaaz's sound has been described as a blend of blues, rock, and psychedelia with Kashmiri and Urdu lyrics. Despite all kinds of international influences, their music has a rootedness and an intent that imbues their music with a sincerity not often heard in popular music in India.
