Ever wondered how to make those artsy, beautiful letters and quotes? Now’s your chance to gain a new skill!

In this session, you will be learning how to write in modern calligraphy style by using a regular pen or pencil.

**The session is BEGINNER FRIENDLY and you don’t need any experience in drawing / painting whatsoever!

Date - 14th June 2020

Timings - 5:30pm - 7:30pm

The schedule for the session will be as following:

- Introduction to Faux Calligraphy

- Alphabet structure

- Forming Lower case Alphabets

- Forming Upper Case Alphabets

- Project - Lettering a word (Your Choice)

Materials required

-Any pen (pigment liners/ball point pens/ gel pens)

-A4 Paper (5-6 sheets) or notebook

-Pencil, Eraser and Scale.

Duration - 2 hours

Kindly note:

*This is a do-along live class, so the instructor will make illustrations step by step and will also answer your questions.

*Class is conducted over a password-protected ZOOM video live session

*Class link will be sent 30 mins before on whatsapp on the number given by you - you can access it via phone / laptop.

*No prior painting / drawing skills required for this.

About the Instructor:

My name is Vidya. I am from Tamil Nadu. I am a full time Illustrator and Hand Lettering Artist with 3 years of experience. I am also the founder of the brand “The Wishing Ink”, where we make lifestyle and stationery related products. I specialise in Brush Lettering and Botanical Illustration. My favourite mediums to use are gouache, watercolours and iPad for digital illustration. I have been conducting workshops for almost 2 years now.

This is a non-refundable ticket and refunds will only be made in case Studio Ikigai cancels the event.

In certain circumstances, HighApe reserves the right to cancel the tickets owing to any internal reason which requires such action. In such cases, the customer will be provided full refund for the ticket within 7-10 working days.
