Beginner- Level 1

This course introduces classical and contemporary painting, techniques and concepts, with emphasis on the understanding of its formal language and the fundamentals of artistic expression.
• Freehand drawing
• Objects and nature study
• Different techniques; proportions, volume
• Indoor and outdoor sketching and coloring
• Still life
Number of sessions: 4 sessions, Sundays, of 2 hours each.
Age Group: 9+

Intermediate- Level 2
This course leaps you forward to still life paintings, landscapes, and abstracts and introduces basic portraits and human figures
• Freehand drawing
• Understanding color compositions and usages in different contexts
• Using pallet knife and hog brushes for landscapes and abstracts
• Still life realistic
• Basic portraits and human figures
Number of sessions: 4 sessions, Sundays, of 2 hours each
Total fee: 15000/-

**** Materials to be brought by participant************

• Canvas ( 15"x22" or similar size )
• Artists' oil colors (1 set). Each tube of 20 ml
• One Titanium White color tube of 120 ml
• Half liter of kerosene or local turpentine for cleaning brushes
• A color palette to keep/mix colors
• A mixed set of flat, fan and round hog hair brushes
• A palette knife for painting
• Dirty clothes, tissue roll or rags for wiping hands and tools

About the anchor:

Anupam has been practicing art since the age of 5. His artwork has won him many awards in school days and introduced in exhibitions. His paintings and training cover landscapes, city life, historical, mythological figures, still art, illusion arts, abstract art, and live portraits. Anupam provides training workshops on painting across Bangalore.
