Cover: Rs. 500/- available at the venue and completely redeemable on F&B Doors: 8.00 PM Show Starts: 9.00 PM Opening act by By2Blues. -------------------- Menwhopause -------------------- In a country where popular music is dominated by commercial Bollywood music and the live rock music scene is generally full of cover bands, menwhopause stuck to playing only original compositions and were one of the first bands in India to distribute their music for free over the Internet. Their first EP called ‘The story begins...’ was released online as a free download in 2003. Menwhopause has recently finished a new album titled ‘Neon Delhi’, currently being produced by Grammy Award nominated Victor Van Vugt, music producer for Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, and Beth Orton. The band calls the new album “more of a soundtrack really, to a short story or film, rather than an album.” And Neon Delhi is this noir story set in a Delhi from the near future. ------------- By2Blues ------------- By2Blues was founded by Ananth Menon and Vasudev Prabhu, in 2011. After several successful gigs as a duo, By2Blues inducted Joe Anthony into the band in 2015. Today, By2Blues is a well-known classic blues trio. United by a deep and abiding love for the blues, Ananth, Dev and Joe present the blues with refreshing simplicity and honesty. -------------------------- The Humming Tree -------------------------- The Humming Tree is an arts, music and performance space in Bangalore, India, open since June 2013. At the present moment, along with major international artists who are touring with us, we're curating 25+ programs a month including fantastic music gigs, fun workshops, film screenings, exhibitions, cultural performances, theater, spoken word poetry, reading and storytelling sessions and other educational gatherings.
