Starting near Makalidurga Railway Station, the trail winds through lush greenery, rugged terrains, and large boulders, culminating in an ancient fort at the summit. The breathtaking views, including a lake shaped like South America at the base, make the trek unforgettable.

Famous for its stunning sunrise vistas, Makalidurga is best visited from October to February for a pleasant experience. Night treks add an adventurous touch, allowing trekkers to camp under the stars amidst the sounds of fireflies and nocturnal wildlife. The descent reveals panoramic landscapes, and the trek concludes with a hearty breakfast.
