Makalidurga fort stands at a height of 1,117 meters on a granite hillock, just 60 kms away from Bangalore. The peak appears like a valley surrounded by the chains of hills close to Ghat Subramanya.

This enthralling trekking experience will begin from Makalidurga base camp. The trekkers will be served by rugged and steep route to go up top. The ear soothing sound of the darkness with your leg on bushes makes this travel an exciting one. You will be learning many signals to keep yourself away from any danger. Once you are at the top, the scenery of the night amidst the sound of fireflies and wild insects will always be your mind. The campfire will be set and around it, you can either choose to sleep or stay awake contemplating and waiting for the sunrise.

During the dawn period, you will wake up to the exquisite view of a scintillating sunrise which rejuvenates your inner self. The panoramic view of green landscape would be too charming while you descend to Doddaballapur. After the breakfast, you can leave for Bangalore.

About the activity:

Arrive at the pick-up point from 11:30 pm till 12:30 am (depending upon the pick-up point you choose) and gear up for an amazing journey from Bangalore to Makalidurga.
Reach the Makalidurga trek base.
Be ready for your amazing 4 km Makalidurga.
Once at the peak of Makalidurga., you can enjoy 360-degree views of the serene expanse.
Take in the breathtaking sunrise views from the summit and relax while overlooking the magnificent Makalidurga Nature.
Click some of the amazing photos of yourself with the backdrop of natural beauty around you.
Head to the nearby restaurant, freshen up, and satiate your hunger by having an appetizing breakfast.

04:00 AM: Reach Makalidurga Trek Base
Arrive at the Makalidurga Trek Base to prepare for the trekking adventure.
05:30 AM: Start Trek
Begin the trek to the summit, enjoying the serene ambiance of the early morning.
05:00 AM: Reach Peak and Sunrise
Reach the peak in time for the majestic sunrise, offering breathtaking views of the surroundings.
07:30 AM: Descend at Dawn
Begin the descent from the peak as dawn breaks, witnessing the landscape bathed in the soft morning light.
08:30 AM: Reach Base and Head towards Resort
Return to the trek base and head towards the resort for the next leg of the journey.
09:30 AM: Have Breakfast
Enjoy a hearty breakfast at the resort, replenishing your energy after the trek.
10:30 AM: Water Activities like Kayaking and Swimming
Engage in water activities such as kayaking and swimming, providing a refreshing and adventurous experience.
11:30 AM: Leave to Bangalore
Depart from the resort and head back to Bangalore.
01:00 PM: Reach Bangalore
Arrive in Bangalore, concluding the memorable adventure at Makalidurga Trek Base.
