Mood Indigo, IIT Bombay, the largest college cultural festival in Asia, kicks off the Bangalore chapter of the LIVEWIRE band event at blueFROG on Sunday, which has over the years seen the birth of some of the country’s greatest bands like p a r i k r a m a, PENTAGRAM, motherjane, Zero, Goddess Gagged and The F16s. Being the largest college cultural festival in Asia, Mood Indigo caters to a crowd of over 131,000 people from more than 1620 colleges across the country. One of the oldest and biggest semi-professional band competitions, Livewire has been instrumental in promoting the Indian independent music scene for the past 36 years, aimed at providing something to each and every band that is up for making a mark in the professional circuit. Come witness history being made on the 16th this month with an amazing line up of multi-genre upcoming bands.
