Bombay Bassment Bombay Bassment is an award-winning outfit from Mumbai that combines sounds of Hip-Hop, Reggae, Funk, and Drum & Bass.With a definitive thought of forming a Drum & Bass band, drummer Levin Mendes and bassist Ruell Barretto got together and combined forces with Robert Omulo aka Bobkat, a veteran emcee, rapper, and DJ, originally from Kenya who formulates his lyrics and sound around the rhythms of his life and Chandrashekhar Kunder aka Major C, a DJ with over 15 years of experience of the Mumbai Hip-Hop scene under his belt. Naezy Naved Shaikh aka Naezy is a Mumbai rapper who dabbles in Hindi and Urdu lyrics. Naezy has quickly become a rising star in the Indian hip-hop scene, all thank to his impressive flow and slang-inflected rhymes. Naved started his personal journey into the art form with The Schizophrenics, a hip-hop collective he formed with his friends from Khalsa College. In January 2014, he released ‘Aafat’ garnering over 6,50,000 views on YouTube. Prabh Deep Prabh Deep is an MC from New Delhi, India. Gifted with a unique voice that contains traces of the traditional Punjabi folk singers, Prabh has been at the forefront of Delhi's hip-hop scene. Besides being a recording artist, Prabh also pushes for and organizes MC Battles in the city. Born and brought up in Tilak Nagar, Prabh's self-conscious music paints a vivid picture of growing up in a locality that's still reeling from the fallout of the 1984 riots, the recent influx of drugs and guns in the community and his personal accounts of dealing with losing friends and loved ones.
