KP,in short for Kumara Parvatha is one of the highest peaks with some of the most amazing views around.When you reach the top of the peak, you can witness a spectacular sunset and the view of some surrounding peaks from above the clouds. On the foothills you will find Kumaradhara river where trekkers can take a bath after a amazing trek they just did. Some of the challenging personalities find it to be a pure form of the adventures accessible in India. Includes: 2 Breakfasts, 2 Lunches, 1 Dinner Backpacks with tents and sleeping bags & Camping lamps Travel Instructor support Forest department fee Itinerary: We start around 11:30 pm on friday night. Reach foothills by 6:00 am in the morning near Kumardhara River. We refresh for about an hour. We reach the breakfast point by 7:30. We start the trek by 8:30 am (6 KM). We will reach the base camp by 12pm. Lunch will be provided at the base camp. The trek from the base camp to KP peak (8 KM). We reach the peak by 5:30 pm. We'll wait for sunset and will start descend after sunset. We reach back to the base camp by within a few hours for Dinner. Next Morning, we'll have breakfast around 7 AM and start descend to the the foothills by 7:45 PM. By 10:30 PM, we'll be back to our bus (You can take bath in Kumardhara River) and start our onward journey to Bangalore. Lunch will be provided on the way. We'll be back to Bangalore by 8pm the next day. Instructions: All participants will have to carry backpacks till the base camp which is a 6km trek uphill Only Public toilets will be available for use at the base camp. (Charges 5 Rupees/person/Per use) All the participants must follow the instructors and must not stray away from the group. Shoes must of good grip. Only one pickup and drop point will be provided in Bangalore. Things to bring: High Ankle Shoes with good rubber grip Water (2-5 Litres) Windcheaters Extra pair of clothes for those who wish to take bath Extra snacks if you wish
